It's a roof

Well it was quite a weekend - lots of rain and a little snow. We spent some time on Saturday sweeping water out of the house. As of today, the decking is on the roof and we are getting closer to being dried in. I have been told the pictures do not do the house justice. That means you will have to come by and visit.

Trusses are going up. As you can see in the background, we are not experiencing a normal sunny New Mexico day. We are hoping the rain and snow hold off until the roof is done.

We Have A Garage

We had an awesome week of weather and a significant amount was accomplished on the house. As you can see, both the exterior and interior walls have been framed up.  The front porch area was also poured today.

As promised we saw concrete and additional walls Today.  The garage was poured and the exterior walls are totally framed up.  Very Cool!!!

It was exciting to see our first wall framed up today. We are looking forward to concrete poured tomorrow and more walls.

Pics from Saturday and Monday

Well, it is hard to believe this is really happening.  The decking is on and our contractor, Jerry McKee is doing such an awesome job!  The driveway, front porch and back patio have been framed in today and the concrete will be poured on Wednesday!  We got to design and pick out our kitchen on Saturday-it was both challenging and fun!  We're keeping you posted!
